By hiring a bike from Atherton Bike Hire, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing a booking.
1. Hire Eligibility

Riders must be 18 years or older to hire a bike.

Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Helmets are provided and must be worn at all times when riding.
2. Bookings & Payment

Bookings can be made online, by phone, or email.

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged.

Prices are listed in AUD and may be subject to change without notice.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
-
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the booking will receive a full refund.

Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee or receive partial refund at our discretion.

No refunds will be given for early returns.
4. Bike Use & Responsibility

Bikes must be used safely and responsibly at all times.

The rider is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the bike during the hire period.

Bikes are not to be ridden at night unless equipped with proper lights (available upon request).

Please do not ride bikes in prohibited or dangerous areas.
5. Pick-Up & Delivery

Bikes can be picked up from Atherton or delivered to your preferred location by prior arrangement.

Please provide accurate delivery instructions when booking.

A delivery fee may apply for locations outside the Atherton area.
6. Condition of Bikes

All bikes are checked and serviced before each hire.

Please report any mechanical issues immediately.

If a breakdown occurs due to a mechanical fault (not rider misuse), we’ll do our best to assist or provide a replacement.
7. Liability

Atherton Bike Hire is not liable for any injury, accident, loss, or damage arising from the use of our bikes.

Riders hire and ride at their own risk.
-
We recommend having your own personal insurance if needed.
8. Agreement
By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
